Scriptural Readings: Exodus 34:5
God does not change
This is one thing that we have to store in our hearts and minds. From the beginning God did not leave us. It is always our fault that we loose and eventually lose our faith in Him intentionally or unintentionally. Our sense of direction easily points us out to uncertain terms as soon as we face our problems. God descended to his people showing His way for them how He would be a God a father to them. Is this still true today that God does not change and visits us?
God proved and showed the way.
What we miss is the way not the purpose. We get lost. If our purpose will not come from God’s will there’ll be no way to find out the right way. When Abraham was asked by God to offer his son, he was willing to do it. He was right with the purpose and there was no doubt about it but when he was about to do it, God stopped him. It’s not the way. God proved that He is with Him.
How did God prove He is still with us now?
From heaven, He came down, turned Himself into a human and dwell among us. HE proved and showed us that He never changed. We are the ones who constantly change. The love that God has for us will not and never change. Jesus Christ is the same today, yesterday and forever. He said I am the way the truth and the life. There is no other way to God but THROUGH God HIMSELF in human form, Jesus Christ.
How great is God’s love for us? When Abraham was about drop the axe, God stopped him but when His Son Jesus came, this time, He let go.
What God is trying to tell us is that He came down to meet us. He sent down His own Son, God the Son to continue what was originally planned. He wants us to be His children but we refuse.
We have to force ourselves to come into the throne of grace. We have now the access. We have been asking ourselves a lot of questions and spent time looking for answers. This is being lost. God has given us all the possible means to reach Him and we do the opposite. If we have the purpose and this time we know the way, we have to force ourselves no matter what because we know that at the end we will see the truth and our true meaning of life.
Heavenly Father, we come to You because you are our God who would never change. A Father who will always care for us. Forgive us of our shortcomings. Continue to sanctify us that we will see clearly the way the truth and your will for us. We pray through the power of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen!
