We have to live with it

Scriptural Readings: Galatians 2:20; Romans 8:9-10;31

Living nowadays is a nerve wracking thing if not for a lot of us maybe for some and anxiety is a normal thing for humans to have. It might sound strange but I believe there is way we can handle this.

Galatians 2:20

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

I am crucified with Christ:

We could be having the same difficulties with or with out God in our lives but the difference and having the advantage as Christians is that this time God has given us strength and the right reasons for living. To be crucified with Christ is giving up everything! Everything I know, everything I own and everything that I desire. Yes, everything!! Let us go on…

…nevertheless I live;

The whole 24/7, 365 a year is done filled with the sweat of our brows, fun filled moments and because of our stubbornness, unwanted situations. We have this notion that we have to strive to be like Christ. I do not think that this idea will work and go any further. Yes, we are to live with our volition, have logic and practice our common sense…

yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:

but most importantly and thing that really matters is that our lives should be ran, subdued and should be totally under the control by Jesus Christ. We will continue to have hatred, anxiety name it that will make our lives miserable if we will not let Christ live inside not in side of us. There is a big difference. A life that is given to Him under his own rule and a life like ours living the way we want to do. This is the life that we have to live with. It has become inevitable for us Christians to live in the Spirit by letting Jesus conquer our lives and to live our lives the way the Spirit tells us because living in the Spirit is doing God’s will.

…and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

We are not going to live with our dreams anymore but what the Spirit will tell and lead us to. We should not go for the odds thinking that the rule of probability will catapult us to success and have less anxieties. This is totally wrong! This is living and following ourselves outside of what Jesus Christ wants and His will for us. This is the exact opposite of the being crucified with Christ. This idea is ourselves rule. This is not I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Romans 8:9-10

v.9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

To live in a world filled with uncertainties and a life in the Spirit are the lives that we have to live with and the only thing that separates these two is Jesus living inside us and the power of the Holy Spirit and not having our own way of living to please Him.

This is why I believe in His promise that He will not leave us nor forsake us, because He is inside of us. God has seen not us but His son inside of us. This is now the reason that we should be happy and we have to live with it.

v. 10 And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness.

And if Christ [be] in you,

Once again the passage tells us that Christ is inside us and this means that we have to let Him have and run our lives. This is the start of having a life of victory and success because our desires is not coming from us anymore but coming form Jesus Christ Himself. It has become His will and not ours.

the body [is] dead because of sin;

This is so because our sinful nature in our mortal body had been surrendered to Jesus. We have been crucified with Him making it dead in effect and what is left is God’s will.

the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness.

It is now clear with no doubt that this Spirit inside us made us righteous letting us live our lives the way God wanted us to have. The Holy Spirit being in command has led us to His righteousness.

v.31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

What shall we then say to these things?

We have the power of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Sanctification is in full effect inside of us! God is now in control of us. Now we can go through with this life with full confidence with no worries trusting and having Jesus the son of the living God living inside of us.

If God be for us, who can be against us?

NONE! No one, not even one! Alleluia!

The way to start

Scriptural Readings: Jude; Matthew 25:32

We all have our own way to start the day or maybe start the year or start our work for the day. One thing though for sure is that its going to be another day.

v.3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

We are now living in the last days and as we go on to embrace a more technologically advanced in every second and every part of this world our faith is faced with acid tests. Our faith has to be protected and we cannot do it by ourselves.

New International Version

v.17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold.

v.18 They said to you, ” In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires”.

v.19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.

As we always do, we have to coordinate, organize and make sure that we accomplish our plans and these things that we do connects us to people we do not fully know. Watch out for these people who try to isolate themselves and follow their own ungodly wants and desires. Remember that we are now living in the last times. They will convince us thus they will go for their best shot to divide us. What is happening to our government? To our society? To our families? We do not have to go far to see these things. I do not think that this is a difficult thing to see nowadays! They are not just simple but powerful individuals and they have banded themselves to make sure that they will get through with their ungodly desires!

v.20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit,

v.21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

We have the Holy Spirit in our lives. We can never be mistaken from these kind of people. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit in us will tell us exactly what to do, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit

The way to start is reminding ourselves always(the Holy Spirit will do that for us)that God is with us communicating and telling us how He loves us and what to do exactly in these times. Just like these scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires, we Christians should also band together, protect our faith and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

It is maybe the start of the new year or the beginning of something new that we have to put in to our minds and work on it however, by the end of the day we should let our faith in God remains in our whole spirit, soul and body. The old man is now dead. We are now a new creature in Christ, separated for the Gospel. The way to start is to anchor our faith on Jesus and what he had started in us. This is the way to start.

Be still..I am God

Scriptural Readings: Psalms 46:10

To deal with time is not easy. It is a common headache for everyone. Time tell us to stop and when to go and as always time tells us we are in deep trouble. The problem with us today is that time has become our master and we are the follower.

One might argue that we cannot do anything about it. It is beyond one’s capacity to totally take control of our own time. It is impossible to save time and sooner or later we are going to lose it. There is no such thing as perfect timing. We could have started with the right things but will end up miserable at the end. Time will always be lost and it is very seldom on our side.

Yes, a lot of us will agree. Right? Guess what? This is actually the time that we over looked. It is the wasted time not the lost time. Once we got frustrated with the time we wasted for nothing, we stop, think and ponder and ask what happened and why we wasted those time and now we need more time desperately. We can never turn back the hands of time but as Christians we should bring Him back all the glory and praise with our time.

Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

God is patiently waiting for us to call on Him. Once we ran out of time because we wasted it, this is the time that we call upon His name and rescue us. Our God will always be a father to us. This is where time stops. We are so desperate for answers that we lost track of time praying. We do not care of the time just as long that we will be having answers for our prayers and as a result, we will be asking for more time.

For God, time is forever and we need to learn what everlasting is all about. We have to be still and listen to Him and know that He is God. Time stops when God tells us something. This is the time that we should stop and listen to Him. Sure thing every second will pass by but if we are going to use time for Him it is not losing neither wasting. We are gaining.

The bottom line for this is that we do not have the luxury of time. We do not even own our time at all. The truth is we only have a borrowed time. A certain time. Our time here on earth is limited. God holds our time and it should be devoted for Him, for His glorification. God will not allow us to spend eternity in hell so He sent Jesus His son to bring us back to everlasting relationship with our God. This is the true meaning and value of time. Spending eternity with our God!

Our Father in heaven, grant us the wisdom on how to use this time for You. Let Your Holy Spirit teach us on how to spend every second for Your glorification that our life would be the reflection of Your Son Jesus. We claim these promises through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen!

Make us…Do it.

Scriptural Readings: Luke 22:62; Matthew 16:22-23

There is this built in thing in us called defeat. This thing is not really new for most of us. When we face problems, we also have this anticipating attitude of a lost battle. This is one attitude that we should lose. What really matters even when we lose the battle we learn something from the Lord and this is a win-win result for us Christians.

Luke 22:62

Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

Peter who is the rock as Jesus told him and just like you and I went to lost battles too. Having a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ during that time was not still enough for him to make his life worthy as a disciple only after he went through with a lot of rough times, shaken him, leaving all the things that the Lord wanted him to be. The Lord knows we are not perfect but how many of us(Christians)just like Peter came out and wept bitterly. Weeping before God is humbling ourselves in His presence.

Matthew 16:22-23

v. 22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

v. 23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

Several times Peter had to insist his good intentions of what he wanted for our Lord Jesus but he got the things he never expected instead and to make things matter worst a time of rebuke from the Lord Jesus in return. Why? Although Peter’s intention was that of the Lord’s sake, it was not God’s will.

The devil cannot conquer us though, we are covered by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ but once in while when we are caught up unaware of our intentions and if we are not careful with our decisions(sometimes ridiculous!)we end up the wrong and on the losing side.

So, what do we see here? First, the Lord Jesus is always patient with us. He continually reconstruct us. He gives us hope. He makes things possible for us to continually having fellowship with Him all over again. Just like Peter who wept bitterly, humbled himself, repented from his mistakes and finally, continue to live under the grace of our Lord Jesus.

Second, the Lord empowers us with the Holy Spirit. He makes us, then He will make us do it, His will. This is why we have to submit to Him unconditionally in order that he can continually make us the person He wants us to be and for His will for us to do it.

Yes, you and I are sinners but we must remember that we are God’s children and forgiven sinners. We are the one’s who will take this spiritual battle to the end and it starts by turning ourselves to Jesus Christ guidance through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Yes, we’re in a war. A spiritual war. We should be having a well planned strategy before we go to the battle ground. We should not make our own decisions. We must follow the instructions. Instructions(His will) from our Lord Jesus and our weapon the power of the Holy Spirit. We cannot afford to be defeated and ending up losers all over again. He will make us and we can do it.

From faith to feelings

Scriptural Readings: John 20:24-29

Feelings are attached to our lives. It is a part of us. We cannot be detached from them. The problem is sometimes we are too dependent on them or in some cases we juggle our faith with our feelings. This should not be the case. We should put into our whole being that we should live by faith and not by sight.

If you have found faith(In God), you should not lose it. You have to follow it.

King James Version

John 20:24-29

24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Some of the questions that we always ask ourselves is “How do we see our faith?” or “Are we feeling strong with our faith?” and a list of course will go on.

and be not faithless, but believing.

be not faithless,

The Lord Jesus commanded Thomas that he should not lose his faith. The word faithless in Greek is “apistos” from a – a 1 (as a negative particle) and “pistos” a word coming from “peitho” a primary verb meaning to convince (by argument, true or false). Thomas is juggling between faith and feelings.

but believing.

The word believing on the other hand also came from the word “peitho” but this time it was used with this meaning to rely (by inward certainty) or simply obey.

It is very clear that the Lord Jesus was telling us that faith should be in Him and is a necessity for us. He used the same words with different meaning but the bottom line is they are both commandments. We should get rid of this faithlessness and obey Him(believing only in Him).

And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

When Jesus asked(commanded) Thomas to put his hands on His wounds the(feeling of)faithlessness disappeared. Now Thomas was taken out from his feeling of doubt instead of having faith in the first hand. This is now faith to feelings. This is exactly what Jesus is telling us from the very beginning, to have faith first and fully trusting in Him.

Though faith is something that we cannot feel and sometimes we doubt, should always be a mindset for us. We should focus our whole being(spirit, soul and body) on faith and stand on it firmly. This is the only way the Holy Spirit can commune with us, comfort and instruct us.

We might be playing with our feelings but we should not risk our faith the way we feel things. We can be right or wrong with our feelings but we cannot afford to be wrong with our faith. Faith is something that has to be dealt completely with all seriousness. This is the reason why we choose the wrong path. We should not put feelings before faith. It has to be from faith to feelings.

Our Father in heaven, we are weak. We need strength in our spiritual lives. The only thing that we can be strong is to have a stronger faith in Jesus in our lives and the power of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, strengthen us. Let your power cover our whole spirit, soul and body. In the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

What is there on top?

Scriptural Readings: Proverbs 16:5; Proverbs 16:8 Acts 12:20 -23; Philippians 2:5-11

What is it to be on top? On top of what? Career? Financial status? Of our problems? Whatever these things that we are extremely thrilled about or completely blank on what to do, we have to be very careful with all our actions. This may cause our fall or maybe one more step higher.

Proverbs 16:5 Every one [that is] proud in heart [is] an abomination to the LORD: [though] hand [join] in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

Proverbs 16:18 Pride [goeth] before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Acts 12:20-23

v.20 And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king’s chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king’s [country].

v.21 And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.

v.22 And the people gave a shout, [saying, It is] the voice of a god, and not of a man.

v.23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

When we think that we are on top of everything, we have a lot of things to deal with. Our whole being is always at stake most specially when we accomplished something and we are being praised. Our ego might be bloated and if we lost control of ourselves, disaster might follow next. It is impossible for us to know exactly what to be on top of everything.

When we were born, there is no way that we can see our future. It cannot be possible that we know everything from controlling our feelings to being knowledgeable from being above of everything. Being on top is something that has to be experienced coming from down below and therefore an experience is needed, a necessity for us to work on to reach what is on top and above.

Philippians 2:5-11

v.5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

v.6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

v.7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

v.8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

v.9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

v.10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;

v.11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

From heaven He came down. What else can we say about it. A God from above us and who is on top of everything went down, has to suffer and die just to show us what is our real situation and where we are heading to down here and here we are trying to say that we know better of what is being on top of everything!

Our Lord Jesus is on top of everything. From the moment that we get into a lot of troubles. He will rescue us.This is exactly what is to be on top of everything. One thing that we can never know fully. To trust Him every second of life should be our status. It is a must that we install in our lives the faith and trust that will never fail that we can only find in Jesus Christ.

The greatest gift that we ever had is our salvation. This was the first thing that God had in His plan when we failed Him. Being a loving God and Father to us the only thing in His omniscience is to prevent us from entering hell. Our whole being is made up of things that can never be trusted even we know we think that we are on top of things. Our possessions, family and even our own time are things that only God can handle perfectly for us through Jesus Christ. We can never be on top and above of these things. Never. Never even a second in our life time or even a second life term. Again never.

Heavenly Father, we praise and glorify You! We can never be on top of anything for You are always above us. One thing impossible to happen is that we can run our lives without you. Thank you Jesus for being our Lord and savior. Thank You for saving us. Thank You for all the things that you have given us that we can never have. In your mighty name we pray. Amen.

It's plain and simple..How can we miss it.

Scriptural Readings: III John 1:11

Wonderful things happen everyday. The sad thing is that we completely missed out all these things because we are too busy on things we do. One reason that we should appreciate these things around us is that God is telling us something. We could be serious with our relationship with God but sometimes we miss the whole point what God is telling us because we have something else besides God’s will. God communicates with us in many ways and that is why we should be having a prayerful life.

We always need guidance. Just as we know that our children need our guidance and so does our Father in Heaven to us.

John 10:27
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Even if we do the best we can in our spiritual lives we still end up lost and struggling for the truth.

III John 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

The reason that sometimes we are lost is that we succumb to our evil desires. The instruction is plain and simple. We have to follow that which is good. The whole year through is filled up with things that would entice or attract us to do evil things. We all know that we are always attracted and enticed with evil desires and if this thing happened, we lose the voice that is guiding us. Again the passage tells us that we have the knowledge and we know exactly by heart that which is evil and these things which are of evil in nature is the exact opposite of that which is good and he that do good things is of God.

So in other words, if we follow that which is evil, we have not seen God and this also means that we are at a lost and to follow that which is good is of God. Plain and simple.

Our God is a loving God. Our Father in Heaven loves to bless us. Jesus our Lord and savior is always there on the right hand of our Father for us and the Holy Spirit never let us down and comforts us always. It is plain and simple, it is impossible to miss a simple and plain instruction…. to follow that which is good. How can we miss it.

It was right there from the start…the beginning.

Scriptural Readings: Genesis 1:1John 1:3; I John 2:1-2,

In the beginning [God] (created the heaven and the earth).

In the beginning [was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God]. The same was in the beginning with God. (All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made).

I would say most Christians know these verses. The first verse is Genesis 1:1, while the second verse is from John 1:3

Philippians 1:6 I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

One question I think that we should ask ourselves is what is the significance of having things created in the beginning? Why did God create these things including us? He has a purpose of course and a lot of them I guess. Right?

If God created us in His own image that means our lives are precious to Him. We humans are so precious to Him. Right? It is from the beginning or it is right there from the start that because of His exceeding love that we came into being. No exceptions!

v.1  My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

Yes, we were cut off from what is perfect. His perfect love for us! It would have been a perfect start from the beginning and a perfect ending for us but we interrupted it. It was also right there from the start and from the beginning that He already made a way that we can go back to Him.

v.2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world.

Yes, it was right there from the start, from the beginning that we are destined to live in harmony with God. And it is not yet late. God Through His son Jesus Christ sees us as co heir. We do not have to wonder far from where we are now or what we have been through and what has become of us now.

(New International Version)

v.24 As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.

v.25 And this is what He promised us—eternal life.

God always gives us a fresh start. It is always in the beginning that God tells us to be very careful. We should see to it that we should be having a good start and we will definitely end up with what God expects from us and be rewarded, a promise right from the start…from the beginning—an eternal life.

Father God, we are so much thankful for your exceeding love for us. We can never be right in your sight but you did something for us to be right again. Thank you for giving us your Son Jesus so we can reach out to you. We need your grace and blessings. These things can never happen apart from your Son Jesus our Lord and Savior. Help us to always remember that you have loved us first, right there from the start… from the beginning. In Jesus precious name we pray. Amen.

One thing that we have to do…

Scriptural Readings: I Peter 3:12

We should always be responsible with the things that we do. Right? It is not easy to live and to please people around us. Even the things that seem to be good for them, actually they aren’t. Living in complicated world is not easy and dealing with other people is another thing that we have to do in our daily course of life.

For the eyes of the Lord [are] over the righteous,

One thing that we have to do is to make sure that God is in control of us or to put in simple terms we should be following His instructions. His eyes are on us because God will make sure that we will accomplish His will. It is very clear that God will definitely and continuously to work on us. For us to be righteous is God’s job. Sanctification starts if we continue to humble ourselves.

Submission of our outer man, our body and soul, should be constantly dealt. There are things that God has to change and make things better for us. This is the part of being righteous to Him.

and his ears [are open] unto their prayers

Once God starts to change us, we are definitely going to communicate with Him. It may be unpleasant(most of the time) and sometimes very pleasant. This is also the time that we can have the relationship that we are longing for. His ears are open to our prayers. We have to be fully aware of what is happening and has to happen. We have to claim the blessings and instructions all at the same time.

One thing that we have to do is also to be patient. Changing us or transforming us may take time. It will now all depend on us. If we are willing to be submissive all the time, then God can work on us in a quick manner and for our part, His ears are open to our prayers. We should always have this prayerful attitude.

but the face of the Lord [is] against them that do evil.

One thing that we have to do in order to have a continuous and wonderful fellowship with our God is not to do things that are against His will. If we continue on the other hand with our former status of doing evil works, then God will not do any iota of thing in changing us and we know that this thing happens when we feel that we are not going anywhere. There is no spiritual growth in us and we cannot enjoy the fellowship, the Father and children relationship, the true meaning of happiness.

It seems though that this one thing that we have to do turn out to be a lot of things for us to do. Right? The truth is that all of these things can only be done by God. It may require us of a lot of one thing we have to do but the bottom line is that God is still the One who will make it possible for us. Our faith in His Son Jesus our Lord and Savior will make it all happen. Through Jesus, He can make use(control) of our lives. Through Jesus, we can acquire patient. Through Jesus, we are protected from evil things. One thing that we have to do…Trust Jesus Christ.

Our Father in Heaven, It is very difficult for us to get rid of the things that we hold on to in our lives as we get to know You better. This is one thing that we have to do. Thank you for your Son Jesus who will do this for us. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who continually comfort us as You transform us and to be righteous in your sight. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

It has to be Your way…not mine.

Scriptural Readings: Matthew 6:10; Matthew 18:18-19

Are we doing the right things? Are we in total control of our lives? Are we totally, perfectly on top of the things that we currently doing? There are many things how we can check things. The question is… Is it God’s will?

Beautiful landscape
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.

It all starts with our ideas. Right? When we start our day we plan everything. We do not want things unorganized. There is nothing wrong with it. As a matter of fact, it has to be this way otherwise there will be a lot of difficulties for us.

When God created us, He has things for us to do. It wasn’t difficult though for us to do because He was there. The important thing here to see is the relationship. The primary reason that we were created is because God wants to have children. That’s us!

Peter and his brother Andrew were doing their job of earning for a living as fishermen when the Lord Jesus asked them to join Him. In the same manner, James and his brother John were also busy taking care of their everyday manner of earning for a living tending their nets when Jesus called them and they even left their dad!

Matthew was also working sitting in a collectors booth collecting tax, doing his daily routine when Jesus called him,

The apostle Paul was on his way to persecute a lot of Christians. One thing for sure is that he has plan for this. He was organized in his mind, in his work. On that particular day he met Jesus.

There is one thing in common about these people. Their attention is fully focused on what they are doing. Now, sometimes God is taking our attention(most of the time we ignore it). We are too much focused on what we are doing that we forget that God has also something for us to do.

Matthew 6:10

v. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.

Why did Jesus tell us that it should be the Father’s will be done? What happened to our volition? Aren’t we allow to choose the things we would like to do? The truth is, our volition doesn’t have anything to do with this. God’s will is always for our own good and this is why Jesus is saying “Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven”.

Matthew 18:18-19

v. 18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

v. 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

The thing that we are missing is that we are having our own way and not His way. We are too(over)serious on the things that we want(we do not want to be disturbed) Him to do for us but we do not know that He has a lot of better things for us.

God wants to know first His will. Jesus asked His disciples to join Him during the time they were busy with their everyday tasks. It has to be done this way, God’s way. Jesus has to take their attention away from what keep them busy. The same it has to happen today. For us to know God’s will, we have to have a time solely for Him.

It has to be God’s way first before ours. It might be inconvenient for us sometimes but then again if it is God’s will, it is always for our own good. This is why when we pray we have to agree that it has to be His way, His will, then and only then that it will be granted.

Father in heaven, it can never happen that our ways will be perfect. It has to be Your way. The way we live our lives can only result to a lot of miseries no matter hard we try. It should not be our way. Thank you for giving your Son Jesus, our only way to You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
